About Boo Bear

Boo Bear is looking for a place to call her own and a family who will be patient with her as she settles in. At 8.5 years old, she's a senior Weimaraner who lost her previous home when her owner passed away. While she started out shy and reserved, she’s pushed through and now shows a warm, quietly affectionate side. Boo Bear is housetrained and crate trained, often seeking out her crate for alone time when she needs a break. She does best living with another mellow dog who can give her a dose of confidence, but she’s not a match for homes with cats or farm animals. Boo Bear would do well with older kids who understand she may need space at first. She’ll need a little work on polite leash-walking—she’s strong and can pull, so some consistent refresher training will help. Boo Bear is still a little overweight, so regular gentle exercise and careful feeding are important to keep her in good shape as she ages. She’s willing to try new things and just needs an adopter who won’t rush her. Boo Bear is currently in Marietta, GA. Ready to meet her? Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
