About Stella In Tn
Stella In Tn is a petite, long-haired cream Dachshund in Shelbyville, TN, just shy of 6 and a half years old. She’s recently retired as a breeder and is figuring out life as a proper pet for the first time. The world is still a bit new to her—she’s shy with strangers and takes her time to settle in, but once she trusts you, her sweet side shows through. Stella gets along well with other dogs in her foster home and really thrives with a gentle, playful canine companion to help her learn the ropes. She relies on a doggie door and is getting better with house training; leash skills are a work in progress. Stella will need a patient adopter who’s home most of the time, a securely fenced yard, and a smaller, sociable dog friend to show her how to play and relax. Apartments and condos won’t suit her. She isn’t a fit for homes with young kids, but is fine with children over 11. She doesn’t get along with cats. Stella is spayed and up to date on all her vaccinations. She may be older, but she’s got plenty of spunk—and that Sagittarius enthusiasm comes through when she starts to trust. Give her patience and understanding, and you’ll end up with a devoted little best friend. Your new best friend is just one click away.
