He is smart, loyal, brave, and always ready for adventure. Whether he is romping around with other dogs, investigating a squeaky toy like it contains classified information, or proudly standing beside his humans, this boy is ready to transform your life. And just like every great hero, Maximus has already survived a battle. He was surrendered to rescue after being attacked by another dog, leaving his former owners unable to cover the medical bills for his injuries. But true to his name, Maximus fought through it all with courage and heart. Now fully healed, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations, he is ready for his next mission: Finding a forever family. Maximus loves to play with both male and female dogs and has already shown he is a social, playful guy. He instantly bonded with my husband, proving this boy is deeply loyal and eager to connect with his people. He is also discovering toys and the simple joy of finally getting to just be a happy dog again. Behind the big paws and superhero name is a dog who simply wants love, safety, and someone to stand beside forever. Some dogs come into your life quietly.
