Located: Fredonia, WI Fee: $400 Meet Kia — an 8-week-old little bear with a big personality! these puppies are small but we are told by the owner they were born March 21. Mom was very skinny so we are guessing the puppies didnt have the right nutrients to grow properly. My foster parents call me “Little Bear” because apparently I look more like a tiny bear cub than a puppy. I'm your typical playful puppy who loves exploring, chewing, and keeping everyone on their toes. Foster mom says I'm starting to get a little sassy and test my boundaries... but that just means I'm smart and full of personality! I absolutely LOVE other dogs, especially my young foster sister. I'm happiest when I have a buddy to play with and follow around. Speaking of following... I'm very loyal already and like to be wherever my foster parents are. If you move, chances are I'm right behind you! I already know my name and have surprisingly great recall for such a young puppy. Pretty impressive, right? Potty training is coming along nicely, and I'm learning more every day. Now, I do have one thing to say about crates and playpens — I have opinions. I can be pretty vocal when I think I should be out and about with everyone else instead of confined. At night though, I settle well in my crate as long as I'm close to my people. During the day? Well... I may file a formal complaint if I think I'm missing out on the fun. So having my humans home more than not is ideal! I'm currently in full-blown land shark mode, so toys and puppy patience are a must while I work through my teething stage. But once I'm sleepy, I turn into the sweetest snuggle bug and love curling up for cuddles. If you're looking for a smart, playful, loyal little sidekick with a whole lot of personality, I might just be your girl!
