Meet Lucky! Lucky is a Pit mix who was born on 11/22/23. He is around 50 pounds but still needs to gain a little weight. He came to us as a skinny stray boy, so we have been working on him to gain weight. His original owner called to say they had rehomed him due to personal reasons, but they did give us his birthday and said he lived with other dogs and kids. It is a must that he is walked on a leash or supervised if he is in a fenced yard. He can and will easily clear a 6-foot fence when he is left unattended. He is crate trained, house trained, and is good with other dogs and kids. We are unsure of cats, but he does do well with small dogs, so if you have a cat who isn't afraid to stand up for themselves, he will probably be fine. Lucky loooooves to go on walks, and one of our 10-year-old volunteers is his favorite walking partner. She walks him with no problem.
