Now safe in a loving southern foster home, Moon Pie is soaking up all the affection, comfort, and fun that puppyhood should bring. Moon Pie is the kind of puppy who fits beautifully into almost any home. She adores people of all ages, from young children to seniors, and happily greets everyone with her cheerful little personality. She also loves other dogs and would thrive with a playful canine companion to romp around with. Like many pups who may have had to compete for resources early in life, she can be protective around other dogs near her food, but this is easily managed by feeding separately. She has no issues with people handling her food and responds well to guidance. This little girl iis doing wonderfully with crate training and settles nicely in her crate, though housetraining is still a work in progress as she learns the ropes of indoor living. She also took her first car ride like a champ, riding calmly and confidently. One thing that makes Moon Pie especially unique is her petite size. She is much smaller than her siblings and has short little legs that bow slightly, possibly due to dwarfism, though she is still very young and growing.
