About Elmer

Elmer’s a sweet little Beagle who ended up as a stray in central Virginia before landing in rescue care. He’s a friendly guy, quick to warm up to new people and loves getting attention. After a long-overdue bath, he’s looking much healthier—bright-eyed and happy again. Elmer’s about 5 years old and on the smaller side for a Beagle, around 23 lbs. His short, tri-colored coat is easy to care for. Right now, he’s not yet house trained and will need some guidance as he settles into a new home. Elmer is making his way to Massachusetts in mid-June and will be looking for a caring adopter. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
