*EXPERIENCE OWNING DOGS THAT NEED REGULAR PROFEESIONAL GROOMING IS REQUIRED!* Meet our outgoing girl named Angel! Angel is about 3 years old and she was surrendered to our shelter because her owner could no longer care for her and the other dogs in the home. Angel and 3 other dogs were surrendered to us at the same time. We are told they are all Poodle and Schnauzer mixes. The other 3, that you can see in some of the photos, are her parents and her sister that she has always lived with. Angel is a very happy and playful little dog who loves everyone! She is fine being picked up and carried around. She only weighs about 8 lbs and she is fully grown. Angel and the others all have hair that will need regular professional grooming. We are requiring any potential adopters have experience owning dogs that need this. Angel can get a little mouthy when she is excited. Angel is good with dogs and cats. She can go to a home with children 12 years old and older. Angel can be adopted into the same home with any of the other dogs she came in to our shelter with. There is a short application for adoption, however if you do not own your home, or you own a condo, we must speak with your landlord or housing association giving permission to dogs/cats. Bully breed specific permission is required if you rent or own a condo. If you own your home, proof of home ownership is required. If there are other pets in the home they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations. If there is another dog in the home a dog interaction must be done at the shelter before adoption, to ensure the safety and well being of all pets. All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal. Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal. An approved application does not guarantee an adoption. We do not hold animals for meet and greet appointments. ALL ANIMALS ARE SPAYED AND NEUTERED BEFORE THEY GO HOME.
