Meet Flannel — New and Improved! **Flannel is currently boarded at Halo K9 Rescue and is Not at the shelter** This 60 pound terrier mix is fully in his self-actualization phase! He is breaking up with old habits, hired a trainer, is eating right, and is putting himself out there. This handsome Virgo is about 6 1/2 years old and he brings a lot to the table for HAWT Boy Summer. He’s very treat‑motivated, and whether you want to dine in or carry out, he's happy to share a meal and listen to your thoughts and dreams while making polite amounts of eye contact. He's housetrained, knows sit and down, and he has been working on leash walking. His trainer is teaching him to use a head halter lead and continuing his training is a great way to bond with Flannel. His ideal match - Someone who loves squeaky toys and balls as much as he does. Or at least is willing to play fetch and let him occasionally pick out something new to play with. Snuffle mats, puzzle toys, ropes, Kongs, and if you have an ongoing subscription to Bark Box or spend your free time scrolling the toys on Chewy, he'd like to meet you. Someone who hikes, or at least likes to go to the park once in awhile. He loves OUTSIDE and being able to follow his nose and explore. Fresh air is good for you, right? Plus nothing beats a belly rub in the grass. He also really loves being able to do Zoomies in a secure area. If you already have a dog in your life, he's not necessarily opposed but he would definitely like to meet any other canine roommates first to see if they got along. Cats are much too close to squeaky toys, so he's looking for a feline-free home. Our adoption fees vary, Shelter Dogs are $180, Prison Dogs are $250, Puppies are $300, and Popular Pure-Breeds are $400. The price includes: a Home Again Microchip, set of shots, de-worming, heartworm testing (if old enough), spay or neuter, and a 1 year rabies shot (if old enough). All dogs adopted must leave with a $21 county license.
