About Sooty
Meet Sooty—a striking tri-colored tortoiseshell with a short, plush coat and a big personality. At about 11 months old, she’s got plenty of affection to give and always keeps you in her sights. Sooty was found wandering alone, but she’s eager to settle into a cozy forever home where she can watch for you in the window and greet you excitedly at the door. Expect ankle rubs, playful pawing for attention, and gentle kitty kisses if she trusts you. Sooty is an excellent lap cat who loves to snuggle and will happily stay close as long as you’re petting or brushing her. Her purring is soft but steady, and she’s a quiet companion—except when it’s time to eat. She enjoys napping beside you, playing with toys on her own or with a wand, and curiously observing wildlife from a high perch. She’s calm around most other cats, hasn’t met dogs yet, and should do well with respectful kids. Sooty uses a scratching post and litterbox reliably. She hopes to find a family who values her company and maybe even has a window seat for her to watch the world go by. Your new best friend is just one click away.
