Gummybear is a five-year-old, small black domestic short hair cat living in Lake Orion, MI. She is spayed, vaccinated, has a short coat, and is house trained. Gummybear has special needs due to a mild case of Cerebellar Hyperplasia and had all her teeth extracted, but she is otherwise healthy and manages well.

About Gummybear

Gummybear arrived in rescue in rough shape—underweight and dealing with dental disease—but she’s come a long way. Now, at five years old, this petite black domestic shorthair tips the scale at just 5 pounds, yet her personality fills the room. Gummybear seeks out people for naps and cuddles, happily settling near or even on her fosters, though she isn’t really into being picked up. She soaks up affection, always eager for more pets. She does great with other cats and thrives on feline companionship, especially with playful kittens. Gummybear is social, playful, and loves spending time with her foster siblings, chasing toys or curling up with them. Her suspected mild Cerebellar Hyperplasia means she’s a bit wobbly, but it doesn’t hold her back—nor does the fact she had all her teeth removed due to dental disease. Gummybear can handle both wet and dry food and prefers dry. She’s lived in an adult home with no dogs, but could do fine with respectful dogs and children. A home with at least one other friendly cat is essential for her. She is spayed, litter-trained, and vaccinated. Ready to welcome someone irresistible? Click apply to start the adoption process.
