Sugar, lovingly called “Mama,” is the definition of affectionate. She is a beautiful 4 year old calico girl with some of the softest fur you will ever touch, and she has a way of making every room feel calmer just by being in it. She adores cuddling with her babies and absolutely loves bedtime snuggles with her humans. She is a constant purr machine who will often start purring loudly just from being talked to. Sugar loves being close to her people and soaking up attention. She can happily enjoy being pet for hours and will melt right into your hands, especially behind her ears and under her chin. Whether she is curled up in her favorite cat couch or quietly settling in beside you, she is happiest when she is near her people. She is playful too, especially when it comes to her favorite fur mouse, feather wands, and laser toys. Though she can be a little clumsy at times, it only adds to her charm. Sugar did not have a place to call her own for the first 2 years of her life and was taken inside for safety from the elements. Her previous litters did not make it except for her two kids rescued with her, Oreo and Patches, who have remained by her side. She has a big heart for people and a deep appreciation for comfort, kindness, and routine. Sugar is looking for a forever placement where she can be cherished as much as she cherishes her family.
