About Choquette

Bon jour. This is Choquette—her foster calls her "shoe-KET" or "cho-ket," and says she’s every bit as sweet as a French cream puff. You can shorten it to "Shoo" if you want, but she’s not picky. Choquette is wild about food and treats, whether crunchy or soft, and goes crazy for toys—fur mice, jingle balls, flowers, wand toys, just about anything. She’ll bat at your hands when she’s feeling playful, but never uses her claws. A home without kids is best for Choquette, but she really enjoys meeting other cats. She grew up outdoors with her sisters and didn’t get much people time as a kitten, so she still tends to be shy with new folks. That said, she’s discovered she loves being petted, and her purr can be heard throughout the house when she warms up. Choquette does need someone patient who’ll let her come out of her shell at her own pace. She’s close with her sister, Beignet, and looks out for her since Beignet is more reserved. If you’re open to adopting a pair—Choquette the outgoing one and Beignet the cautious sibling—they would love a home together. Choquette is 11 months old, spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, FeLV/FIV negative, and microchipped. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
