He absolutely loves people and thrives on attention, affection, and positive feedback from his humans. This sweet boy is happiest when he’s playing fetch with his favorite tennis ball, showing off his zoomies, and then curling up next to his person for a nap. He has a great “play hard, relax hard” personality that makes him a wonderful companion. Jax is housebroken and has been living successfully with adults and teenagers. He loves meeting new people and is friendly, affectionate, and confident around humans. Jax is not reactive to other dogs as long as he has space and distance. He is fearful of dogs, and we believe he may have experienced a previous dog attack. Because of this, he would do best as the only dog in the home or with an experienced handler willing to work with professional desensitization training to help him rebuild trust and confidence around other dogs.
