Cecily was quite spicy when she first arrived. She warmed up slowly when we added a plushie to her bed for her to curl up next too along with gentle pats. Cecily just needs a place to be herself - to come into her own and be confident enough to be a cat. She is learning day by day to relax, and slowly recognizing what "toys" are. Cecily no longer has to fight for her place in the world- she is also learning just how special she is - and when she looks into your eyes- Cecily lets you know just how special you are to her. She is shy - but not aggressive, Cecily just wants to know she is safe :). Note: Cecily is a champ at using her litter box- however we don't think she has ever been housed before but she is not apt to jump to high places as she is too shy right now to do so. :)
