Meet the Squash trio: Honeynut, Butternut, and Acorn! These kitties came to us as strays so we don’t know much about their history before the shelter. Here, these kittens have been a little shy, so they will need to go to a patient and loving home where they have the time and space to decompress and learn their social skills. When left to their own devices, they are rambunctious little cuties who like to play and wrestle each other. They warm up over time and do love to sit in a lap and get some cuddles. If you are looking for some cute orange kittens to brighten up your summer, come meet the squash trio today! They are available for preadoption—come meet them, fall in love, and take them home after their spay and neuter surgeries! Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
