August is my staff favorite pet! He is such a cool cat. He's been at the shelter since the end of April along with his best friend, Azura, and her two kittens. We think that he's their dad but whether or not he's the "real" father, August loves those baby kittens. He'll groom them and let them snuggle up to him. August is independent and a little shy, but loves pets. He's a real big cat! I can imagine he would love having a fluffy couch and a cat tree to hang out on. I wish he wouldn't be so overlooked, because he really is a great cat.
