About Kate
Kate has a genuine love of the outdoors and is still getting the hang of life as a companion dog. She’s sometimes unsure around new people and places and needs a little patience to get comfortable, but once she settles in, her warmth and playfulness come out strong. You’ll notice her tossing toys and finding ways to amuse herself, proof of her lively personality beneath the surface. Kate’s history has been pretty quiet—she spent a lot of time alone outside in a pen before rescue, so even the basics of home life are taking some getting used to. She appears to be kennel trained, does well with cats, and is fine with dogs, especially if they are calm and she can meet them at her own pace. Kate isn’t suited for a bustling household with young kids or lots of visitors; she’ll do best with people who understand slow introductions and have patience for a dog that needs time to trust. A quiet home or a farm where she can safely enjoy the outdoors would be ideal. Give her the space and time she needs, and you’ll get a loyal, playful companion who bonds deeply with her people. Born March 19th, Kate is a Pisces, so she’s got a big heart once you get to know her. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
