Meet Marnie! Right now, the world feels like a very big and scary place to him. New people, new environments, and all of the activity around shelter life can feel overwhelming, so Marnie spends a lot of his days keeping his distance and quietly skittering away from staff. Marnie spent some time in foster care, but unfortunately sharing a home with other dogs wasn't the right fit for him. Since returning, he's continued to struggle with confidence and is still learning that people can be kind and safe. He barely eats, keeps to himself, and is taking things one tiny step at a time. But here's the thing about dogs like Marnie: they don't need perfection -- they need patience.
