Meet Lincoln! Lincoln is an independent girl who knows exactly what she likes: a calm home, a predictable routine, and plenty of cozy spots to relax and watch the world go by. She came into our care when her guardian was moving and could not bring her along. She prefers to spend her days birdwatching from a sunny window, lounging in a favorite cardboard box, or waiting patiently for her breakfast and dinner right on schedule. Lincoln can be a very sweet companion on her own terms. She enjoys sharing space with her people and may rub against your legs for attention, but she's not the type of cat who wants constant cuddling. She's happiest with someone who understands and respects feline body language and will give her space when she asks for it. Once left alone to decompress, she settles nicely. New people may take some time to earn her trust, but with patience and a quiet environment, she's capable of forming strong bonds with her favorite humans.
