All HSWA dogs are either at our Dog Adoption Facility or in foster homes. All dogs require an appointment to meet. About Me: I am very sad and confused right now. I know I am loved...by the new people I find myself surrounded by and my former owner, who had no choice and tried desperately to find a home for me. But it's loud and scary for me right now, and I don't want to stay here for very long. I'm an easy-keeper...my energy level is relatively low and probably my favorite activity is sleeping. I am great on a leash and like to be taken on walks so I can then have a really good nap! I love people and appreciate affection. Sometimes I will nudge you with my head if you forget to pet me or take your hand away from me. I like knowing you are there for me. Everyone who has met me has talked about how sweet and loving I am. I can be sweet and loving for you, too. I am a really, really good boy. I want to feel safe and secure again. All HSWA dogs available for adoption are up-to-date on vet care, are heartworm-negative, have been (or will be) spayed or neutered, microchipped, and current on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives.
