Meet Matilda! Hi, I’m Matilda! I’m a hound puppy born on 2/22/26, and I’m spunky, vocal, and full of opinions. If I can’t get comfortable, you’ll definitely hear me grumbling about it. But when I’m happy? I’ll absolutely cover you in kisses. I’m a serious licker, and that’s just how I say “I love you.” I sleep sprawled out superman style with all four legs flying on my very own blankie. My kennel is my safe space at night and whenever my human is out. I adore kids and other dogs, and I’ve even met a turtle and a toad without a second thought. Outside is where I really shine. I love exploring, splashing water out of the bowl like it’s my personal hobby, and chewing on whatever nature provides — rocks, sticks, leaves, you name it. Real toys are definitely a must because this mouth needs a job. I’m still working on potty training, but I’m getting better every day and I’m pretty good at letting my human know when I need to go outside. Car rides are still a little new to me, but I’m learning they’re not so bad. My favorite snacks so far are peanut butter, mango, carrots, cauliflower, broccoli, and crunchy ice cubes. I’d love a home with patience for puppy training, a sense of humor for my chatty personality, and someone who doesn’t mind lots and lots of face kisses.
