About Butter Bean
Butter Bean is a large, sturdy Terrier/Shepherd mix about 2.5 years old. Raised on a ranch in South Texas, he's used to outdoor life surrounded by livestock and plenty of open space. Butter Bean has always looked out for his sisters and has grown into a gentle, protective companion. He hasn’t yet lived indoors full time, but his siblings transitioned quickly and he’s eager to follow their lead. He’s used to being around adults, kids, other dogs, and has had some experience with cats. Although he’ll need support learning household routines, Butter Bean is intelligent, calm, and eager to please. He’d do well with a patient adopter willing to show him the ropes inside, and a secure yard where he can safely stretch his legs. He loves affection and is genuinely good-natured—quiet but alert, and just waiting for a family to call his own. Butter Bean is neutered, vaccinated, and ready for a new beginning.
