About Max
Max is a striking young mixed-breed dog, just under a year old. He has a shepherd’s face with a quirky strip of coarse terrier-like hair running down his back, giving him a unique look. Max is silly, playful, and brimming with energy. He thrives on activity, so a home with another playful dog or a very active family would suit him best. Currently around 40 lbs and still filling out, Max is expected to reach about 50 lbs at full adult weight. He’s crate and potty trained, knows his name and some basic commands, and enjoys social time with his people. Max isn’t a big barker but can sound off if needed. Walks are a daily favorite, especially when he gets a cookie from the local fire station. He gets along well with other dogs, and while he hasn’t lived with cats, he may do well with playful, tolerant kitties. A few requirements for Max: he needs a fully fenced yard, children in the home should be age five or older, and his adopters must be ready for the demands of a young, high-energy dog. Max is vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
