Milly 🌷 Female Domestic Shorthair Tabby & White || 11 Years Old This big girl here is Milly. She's quite a bit of a chonker, weighing it at over 10lbs. She's also a grumpy elderly lady who doesn't do that well with a lot of activity or change. Milly came in when her owner unfortunately passed away, and she is not a fan of the shelter environment. She's one of those cats whose "hiss is worse than her bite", not that she even bites. She's nervous and unsure of the situation and where she is, so she is scared and will likely hiss if you go to pet her. However, it's just a facade, really. Despite the grumpy and nervous behavior, she has yet to try and bite or claw at anybody, human or feline. It's very likely that Millie was with her owner for a good majority of her life, so the sudden change after this long is something she is taking some time to adjust to, and she is a cat that needs to have a calm home with someone who's patient enough to work with her and show her that she is safe and can trust others again. There's no doubt that underneath all that grumpy old lady fear, there is a sweetheart cat who wants nothing more than a safe and cozy retirement home to live out the rest of her days in. 🐾
