About Lola
Lola is a little over a year and a half old and full of personality, affection, and energy. When she first landed at the rescue, everything terrified her. She had to be carried and was unsure about the world, but through plenty of patience, gentle encouragement, and a steady supply of treats, Lola has transformed. She’s now an affectionate, playful Cattle Dog mix with a deep desire to please. She already knows “sit” and is motivated to tackle more—especially if treats are involved. Lola is now exploring agility equipment and loving every minute of it. Her roots as a Cattle Dog show: high-energy, sharp, truly thrives with activities that challenge her mind and body. Once she warms up, she leans in close for affection, gives enthusiastic kisses, and will collapse content at your feet after a good play session. On a recent overnight, she walked miles, played well with other dogs, showed off her toy-collecting skills, and proved she can be patient and calm indoors—she even slept quietly through the night. House manners are coming together with her outdoor-only potty habits, and she politely ignored tempting shoes. Lola needs a home that understands her working-dog drive. She will do best where her energy and smarts can be channeled through ongoing structure and training. She is not a fit for homes with children, but for the right adult home, she’ll offer loyalty and love in spades. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
