Despite everything he’s been through, Boogie remains a sweet, loving soul who’s simply searching for a calm, safe place to finally rest and be loved. Over the years, Boogie has survived cancer, completed heartworm treatment, endured abuse while at a boarding facility, and even recovered from a serious dog attack that required surgery. Through it all, he has continued to trust people and greet life with quiet resilience. Today, Boogie’s biggest wish is simple: a peaceful home, a soft blanket, kind humans, and a gentle routine. He enjoys lounging comfortably, relaxing near his people, and soaking up affection at his own pace. He still has his quirky personality and sweet spirit, but these days he’s much more interested in comfort and companionship than chaos or excitement. Boogie does best with female dogs and would thrive in a calm environment where he can feel secure and understood. He’s very food-motivated, enjoys leisurely outdoor time, and absolutely loves cozy spots where he can rest his bony little bum.
