Shawnee is the rare cat who is genuinely great with children, other cats, and dogs without reservation or asterisk. He walks into any situation and makes it better just by being there. He is talkative in that distinctly Bengal way, which means he will have opinions about your day, your breakfast, and the general state of things, and he will share them with you freely. He will also climb into your lap at the earliest opportunity and stay there as long as you let him, purring like he has nowhere else in the world he would rather be — because he does not. Shawnee is the kind of cat that experienced cat people recognize immediately and new cat people fall in love with and never recover from. He is social without being overwhelming, affectionate without being needy, and beautiful without being aloof. He is, simply put, the whole package. We adore him.
