About Joannie

Meet Joannie — a sweet, playful girl with plenty of spirit and a huge heart. Joannie was born in spring 2021 and has already handled more twists than most. Found abandoned with her sister as a young cat, she landed a home, only to later be left outside the shelter to fend for herself. Even after all that, Joannie’s trust in people never wavered. She craves interaction, greeting you at the door like you’ve been gone for ages and making herself comfortable in any available lap. Afternoons find her basking in sunny windows, watching the world with curious eyes. She’s both lively and affectionate, sticking close to her people and ready to pounce for a play session or settle in for a cuddle. Joannie needs to be the only pet in the home; she prefers having the humans all to herself and doesn’t get along with other animals. We aren’t sure yet how she feels about dogs or kids, but she’s been warm and social with every adult. If you want a loyal sidekick who’ll brighten every day, Joannie is more than ready to be someone’s cherished companion. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
