A perfectly aged wheel of cheese only gets better with time, and that philosophy fits me beautifully. I’m Babybel, a senior lady born 08/21/2011, wrapped in a fluffy coat and powered almost entirely by cuddles, naps, and attention from my favorite humans. Life changed recently when my owner could no longer care for me, so I’ll need a little time to settle into a new home and feel safe again. Underneath that adjustment period is an unbelievably sweet and affectionate cat who absolutely adores people. I thrive when someone is around most of the day, making me the ideal companion for a retired person or someone who works from home. Quiet company, soft conversations, and warm laps are basically my version of gourmet cheese pairings. Cuddling is my greatest talent. Fluffy beds are wonderful, but laps are even better, especially if they come with gentle pets and admiration for my luxurious senior beauty. I’m also great with kids and other cats, bringing a calm, comforting presence wherever I settle in for my next nap. My fabulous long coat does require some maintenance because I shed quite a bit and can develop mats if I’m not brushed regularly. Thankfully, I genuinely enjoy being brushed, turning grooming sessions into relaxing little spa appointments fit for the queen of the cheese board. Even at nearly 15 years old and declawed, I’m in surprisingly good health, and there’s every reason to believe I still have several wonderful years left to spend loving my people and perfecting the fine art of cozy living. My ideal future involves soft blankets, steady companionship, and being treated like the rich, creamy deluxe edition of comfort that I truly am. My adoption fee is $25.
