About Piper

Piper is the kind of cat that wins everyone over just by being herself. She’s a brown tabby with a short, plush coat, and she’s been through more than her share of upheaval—found abandoned outdoors, totally unprepared thanks to being four-paw declawed, and left to fend for herself. That outside world terrified her, and the loss of her only home only made it worse. When she arrived at the rescue, Piper was shaken and overwhelmed—especially by other cats, which she simply can’t handle after whatever she’s experienced. What’s remarkable is how she’s come around. Given her own quiet space and some gentle attention, she’s found her feet again. Volunteers say she’s thriving—loving, deeply affectionate, and happiest tucked close to her person. For Piper, it’s pretty simple: she needs to be the only pet, and she’ll need regular brushing and lots of attention (she’s a fan of toys, too). She’s been fully vetted, spayed, vaccinated, and is house trained. Piper is searching for a calm, stable home where she can finally relax and give all her love to someone who truly values her.
