About Nutmeg
Nutmeg is a 7-year-old Calico with gentle light green eyes, a snowy white chest, and a tapestry of black and orange across her back. She’s a little over her ideal weight, but with encouragement could slim down. Declawed in front and spayed, Nutmeg has put up with more than her fair share of stress in her past home, especially thanks to an antagonistic brother cat who never let her relax. Separation from him made everything easier—she thrives with calm routines and less chaos. Nutmeg has lived with kids and even a puppy, and was content to coexist when given her own space. Her move to the shelter left her anxious and shy at first, but once she realized she was safe, she allowed gentle pets and showed her sweet side, even stretching out for belly rubs. She would do best in a predictable home without her brother, and with slow introductions to any new animal companions. Give Nutmeg a chance to know true comfort. Start your journey together!
