Everly My story begins on December 26th when a concerned citizen found me near a highway. I was limping on my right front leg. I was so grateful to be safe and cared for at the HSHC. But many of the forty days I've been here have been spent in medical isolation, having blood tests and medicine administered. I got to move into the adoptable cattery yesterday, and I am so pleased to be seen! It turns out that I have some nerve damage in my leg, but it does not cause me any pain and does not require treatment. I've had some tummy troubles, but with medicine, they should resolve. I'm so excited to be in my little apartment, with lots of sunshine and people visiting. The interviewer lady was so surprised to see me in the cattery finally! She opened my door, and I was happy to get up from my bed so she could pet me, scratch my chin, and rub my back. She noticed that my right foot turns out, sort of like a ballet dancer. She told me I was a beautiful girl with a lovely, affectionate personality. We had a very pleasant visit, and then I began to nibble on my lunch. I am 4-years-old, spayed, and litterbox-educated.
