About Lucky
Lucky packs energy and affection into one dog. He loves running around outdoors, playing hard, and going for walks, but he’ll happily crash for belly rubs and snuggle sessions too. Leash walks go smoothly—unless a bunny darts by, in which case Lucky definitely wants to chase. He isn’t reactive to people or dogs and does well at daycare, playing great with his foster brother. Lucky gets along with kids of all ages, though he may barrel over smaller children when he’s excited. He doesn’t show any toy or bone guarding, and the only food guarding happened briefly when he first arrived. Sharing a water bowl is no problem. Lucky wants to be around his people, and he’s happiest outside or flopped over, waiting for a scratch. He’s crate training and learning commands like “wait” and “calm,” picking things up fast. He’s still a counter surfer, so kitchen vigilance is key. Lucky needs a patient family ready to help him finish learning polite manners, but you’ll get a warm, loyal companion in return.
