Peter was attacked by some kind of animal in May 2024. We received an urgent call and picked him up in Hartselle, AL. We rushed to ER vet since it was on weekend night, and ER vet told us it may be better to put him down since he was severely injured on his face. We had to think about it hard, because we didn't want him to suffer but he was still trying to eat and trying to live, we asked the ER vet to give him the pain medicine to go through the weekend so he won't feel the pain, and we went to our primary veterinarian for the second opinion first thing on Monday morning. Our veterinarian cleaned his face carefully and Peter felt much better right then, he breathes well and he started to eat by himself !! That's when we knew he will be OK. We have him over 2 years now and he is always so funny. He loves to be pet but not so much to be held. He should be the only male cat in the household otherwise he will insist his territory. His jar and the eyes still show the damage of being attacked, but he is very talkative and enjoying his life without pain. He will talk to you and melt your heart !
