Peter is a medium-sized, short-coated, seal point Siamese mix living in Decatur, AL. He’s an adult—about 4 years and 1 month old—and is fully house trained, neutered, and up to date on vaccinations. He enjoys a friendly, playful nature and prefers life indoors for his safety and well-being.

About Peter

Peter’s story started with a harrowing attack in May 2024. Someone found him in Hartselle, AL, badly hurt and fighting to survive. Initial prognosis was grim, but Peter refused to give up—he kept eating, kept trying. After pain meds and a careful cleaning by a skilled vet, he bounced back. He still carries visible scars on his jaw and eyes, but these days Peter thrives and finds joy in the ordinary. Peter’s a comedian with a secret soft side—he loves pets, though he’s not wild about being picked up. He can coexist with other cats, but prefers not to share space with another male. Give him a chat and he’ll reply, usually with the kind of non-stop commentary that makes a home feel lively. His rescue keeps him indoors, and that’s where he needs to stay; after what he’s been through, Peter deserves the comfort and safety of four walls. Ready to fall in love?
