Meet Bonita 4 years old Approx. 15 lbs Chihuahua mix (best guess) Bonita is a tiny little mystery mix with a whole lot of charm. Chihuahua is definitely part of the recipe, but with her longer body and compact build, we wouldn't be surprised if there's some Dachshund mixed in too. Whatever her breed blend may be, she is absolutely adorable. Bonita recently came into rescue after her owner was forced to move and could no longer keep her. Understandably, the transition was a big change for this little girl, and she was timid at first in her foster home. But each day she becomes more comfortable and confident as she settles into a routine. She has been doing well with the other dogs in her foster home and is already showing that she knows what it means to live in a home environment. Bonita is also doing well with potty training and enjoys being near her people once she feels safe. Bonita is the kind of dog who doesn't need to be the center of attention - she just wants a calm home, kind people, and a soft place to land. Watching her confidence grow has been incredibly rewarding, and we think her future family is going to fall in love with her sweet little face and gentle spirit.
