This shiny black mama kitty with gorgeous green eyes has had a difficult start in life. She has a tiny secret white hair on her left shoulder. We think it's an angel looking out for her. Her wariness indicates that people have probably not been very kind but she is making progress in her foster home. After raising her two kittens, she's ready for her furever home. Velvet needs a person who is patient and gentle. Seems very interested in our other kitties and chirps at them through the baby gate but hasn't had direct contact with them. She is not aggressive but will hide if you try to touch her. Not very food motivated.
