Bitsy! Bitsy is part of the adorable Itsy, Bitsy, Spider litter and is a beautiful Buff Tabby. To tell Bitsy's story, first we have to talk about Barn Cats. Generally speaking, barn cats are cared for as well as any livestock. They are treated like farm animals that have a job and need love and care. They have spaces in the barn to be put up at night for safety from predators and they do get some food. They are vaccinated and spayed and neutered. There is no way anyone could have looked at their mom and her babies and think they were ok. Now meet Bitsy. Her story, along with her mom and sisters, is a very sad one. All the kittens came in with matted eyes, upper respiratory infection and Bitsy was in the ER overnight as her breathing was very labored and she needed more support. Our Rescue Director met Bitsy yesterday when they came for vaccines and a photoshoot. This little one likely will be a special needs adoption. She appears to have some neuro issues going on and circles to the right side.
