Flora must be adopted with her bonded companion, Ed, and will thrive in a home that understands her need for a gentle adjustment period. She does best with patient adopters who are comfortable letting her settle in at her own pace for the first day or two, after which she blossoms beautifully into a loving, affectionate companion. A home with older, respectful children who understand patience and gentle handling would be ideal for her. Once Flora comes out of her shell, she truly becomes a social butterfly. She enjoys interactive play—especially kicker toys and anything she can chase—and she absolutely loves a bit of mischief, like dunking her toys into her water bowl before proudly continuing playtime. She and Ed are also big fans of “cat TV,” happily watching birds and squirrels on screen and trying their best to join the action. When she's comfortable, Flora becomes incredibly affectionate and loves attention from her people. She enjoys pets, companionship, and doesn't mind being held once she trusts you, soaking up love with her whole heart.
