Meet Ash! At just 10 weeks old and currently weighing 5 pounds, Ash is pure perfection! Ash got the very best start in life after we rescued his mama from a local shelter while she was extremely pregnant and already in labor. Willow safely delivered her babies in foster care, where they’ve been loved, spoiled, and socialized from day one. Ash is exactly what small breed puppies should be: ✔️Curious ✔️Spunky ✔️Silly ✔️Full of personality He spends his days zooming around the yard, wrestling with his siblings, “borrowing” leaves and sticks, and investigating absolutely everything he can find before piling together with his siblings for a nap in the fluffiest dog bed available. Current obsessions: ❤️Toys, toys, and more toys ❤️Wrestling matches with siblings ❤️Exploring outside ❤️Carrying around leaves and sticks like treasures ❤️Puppy treats ❤️Belly rubs ❤️Snuggles and naps Like all puppies, Ash is still learning potty training and basic manners. He is doing well with structure and routine in foster care, but because he is a tiny puppy with a tiny bladder, he currently needs potty breaks every 3–4 hours during the day and once overnight. His future family should be ready to continue consistent puppy training with patience, routine, and lots of encouragement. Ash’s ideal home will include another playful, accepting dog to help show him the ropes and burn off puppy energy. He does well with other small dogs, cats, and dog-savvy children. He will not be adopted into a home without friendly and accepting dog companion. Ash is joyful, affectionate, and endlessly entertaining.
