About Butter Bean

Butter Bean is a 2.5-year-old, large male Shepherd/Terrier mix with a golden, cream, and brown coat, currently in Corpus Christi, TX. Butter Bean was rescued as a youngster along with his two sisters after growing up on a ranch where he became comfortable around livestock, other dogs, children, and occasionally cats. While he's spent his life outdoors so far and isn't yet house trained, his sisters adjusted quickly to indoor life, and there's every reason to believe Butter Bean will, too, with some patience. He's a sturdy and gentle dog—quiet, observant, and protective—who liked keeping an eye on his siblings and making sure everyone stayed out of trouble. He loves attention from people, is smart, and picks up on routines quickly. Butter Bean is good with kids, enjoys being petted, and is used to having space to run. He'd do well in a home with a yard, ideally with people ready to welcome him as part of the family and teach him the ropes of indoor living. If you're looking to make a real difference for a loyal, trainable companion, Butter Bean is ready for his own happy ending. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
