This two-year-old Maine Coon mix has movie-star looks, a personality that could fill a room, and paws so big they deserve their own zip code. He’s equal parts goofball and gentleman, always ready to chase a toy, flop dramatically for belly rubs, or strike a pose like he’s auditioning for the cover of Cat Fancy. Once a scrappy street survivor, Jellyroll traded in his rough-and-tumble days for a life of luxury—and a fabulous lion cut to prove it. His long fur had gotten matted, so now he’s rocking a bold new look that says, “I’ve seen things, but I still look fabulous.” Beneath that majestic mane is a total sweetheart who just wants love, snacks, and a cozy lap to call his own. Jellyroll is FIV+, but don’t let that fancy acronym fool anyone—it’s no big deal! He’s healthy, thriving, and living happily with non-FIV cats in his foster home. FIV can’t be passed to people, dogs, or other cats through normal cat stuff like grooming, sharing food bowls, or snuggling. It’s only spread through serious bite wounds, which friendly, neutered cats like Jellyroll simply don’t do. He’s fully vetted, microchipped, and ready to bring laughter, love, and a little bit of fabulous to a home with older kids (12+) and no dogs. To the best of my ability I determine if the cat would adjust to a household with young kids, dogs or other cats. If I feel they would not be a good match I state that in the description. Most of the cats that I rescue were abandoned and having a hard time surviving on the streets. I take them in, get them vetted/vaccinated and then let them decompress. PLEASE DO NOT fill out an application if you have young kids or dogs where I specifically state this would NOT be a good match.
