About Peanut

Peanut’s story is full of second chances. After surviving a life-threatening infection thanks to surgery, she stayed with her original family—until recently, when she landed with Evergreen Pug Rescue for a fresh start in her later years. Peanut’s foster says she’s easy to live with and settles in well with other pugs, though she does like to be in charge now and then. She is house trained and manages accidents easily with regular potty breaks. Peanut doesn’t bark much, prefers pets and cuddles to begging for food, and enjoys sleeping next to her person. She’s in good health, walks well on a leash, loves being outside, and just had a dental cleaning, so she’s ready to meet her new family. Peanut gets along with children and would be a good fit for a relaxed home looking for a friendly, affectionate companion who still enjoys going for walks. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
