Meet Ella! This sweet girl came to the shelter with her friend Meladie, who is also looking for a home. Ella can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she feels comfortable, she absolutely loves pets and attention. She's a gentle, affectionate cat who just needs a little patience to let her personality shine. Ella has lived well with children and previously shared her home successfully with a dog, so she may fit nicely into many different types of families with slow, thoughtful introductions. She would love a calm home where she can settle in at her own pace, soak up affection, and enjoy life with her new people. If you're looking for a quiet companion with a loving heart, Ella may be the perfect match for you! Change is hard for this cat. This cat will be very nervous when you first bring them home. You will need to set up a room with a litter box, food, and water. It will take days for this cat to become comfortable and confident in the new home. This cat will be going home with a behavior plan that will need to be followed in order for everyone to transition successfully. Ready to Adopt? You have two options: #1- VISIT IN PERSON Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You'll be able to meet available cats in the shelter.
