About Stella Urgent And

Stella is a 1-year-old Queensland Heeler who urgently needs a calm home to recover from an upper respiratory infection. She’s a medium-sized dog with a short, black and white bicolor coat and a never-ending wag. Shelter staff say Stella greets everyone with friendliness, thrives on attention, and walks well on leash. She does not yet have house training and will need a little time and patience as she transitions out of the shelter. Stella is currently in Bakersfield and has been waiting since early May for someone to give her a real shot. Her positive spirit has stuck with the staff—she just wants someone to love and a cozy spot where she can get healthy again. If you’re on the West Coast, transportation can be arranged for you for a fee, and her adoption fee is fully sponsored. Give Stella the safe place she needs to heal—she’s ready to begin her next chapter. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
