Meet Maxey! Maxey was originally brought into a shelter in Philadelphia after being surrendered by his previous family due to being very ill. Maxey tested positive for Parvo and therefore was in need of a rescue to provide them lifesaving medical care. We gladly stepped up, and gave him all the medical care he desperately needed. Along with a lot of love and supportive care Maxey now has fully recovered and is ready for a home of his own! Maxey is a Miniature Poodle mix who is full of happiness for their second chance at life! Maxey is a young and happy puppy that will require a family up to the task of providing him the ample physical and mental exercise and training that all dogs require. Puppies require a family who can continue their basic training and socialization skills to grow into confident and happy adult dogs! All dogs require an adjustment period after adoption to decompress and acclimate to their new home, routine, housemates, and environment.
