About Roxas
Roxas is a young German Shepherd mix who turns heads with both his playful spirit and his deep loyalty. Pulled from a crowded shelter in Texas, he’s made fast work of proving himself to everyone—a true character, goofy and affectionate with his people, but reserved and watchful with strangers. There’s nothing passive about him: Roxas wants to be part of every activity and adventure, as long as he’s with the ones he loves. Like many young shepherds, Roxas is still brimming with youthful energy and needs an adopter ready to give him regular guidance, ongoing training, and structure. He’s sharp, highly trainable, and does best when his day is full of both mental and physical challenges. Roxas should be the only dog in the home; he thrives as the center of attention and bonds powerfully with his family. The ideal adopter has prior German Shepherd experience and a fully fenced yard for secure play and continued socialization—no exceptions. Roxas is neutered and current on all vaccines, including heartworm and flea prevention. He’s house trained, microchipped, and has had a full assessment by fosters and behaviorists. Roxas lives in Houston, TX, but transport can be arranged across the US and even into Canada for the right home. Roxas would love to meet prospective adopters via video chat before making the trip. If you want an affectionate, loyal companion who will always keep you on your toes—and love you for life—Roxas might just be the perfect fit. Click apply to start the adoption process.
