Why this pet is the one for you: Astrid came into our care as a stray and is a big, beautiful girl looking for a patient and understanding home. Astrid does best when allowed to move at her own pace. Given time and space, she will approach to sniff, accept treats, and begin building trust. She will need time to adjust to a new home, but with a patient and supportive family, she has all the potential to thrive. Keeping her world small and predictable at first will support a smooth transition into her new home. Astrid would do best in a home with children ages 10+ and all children must be present during the interaction process. With patience and kindness, Astrid has the potential to truly blossom.
