About Lion
Meet the Jungle Pups! These three-month-old German Shepherd mix puppies came to the Bakersfield shelter with their mom when they were just a month old. They've already been through quite a journey, and now it's time for the best part—finding a home of their own. The Jungle Litter is all play and affection. After wild play sessions, they settle in close and soak up all the cuddles and attention you can give. They're expected to grow to about 50 to 60 pounds, right in that sweet spot: sturdy enough for real adventure but always down for a long nap on the couch. Lion is full of spunk and charm. He's the jokester in the group, always chasing attention and jumping into whatever action is happening. There's a lot of curiosity and spirit in this pup, and he’ll keep you active and smiling. Still, despite his feisty side, Lion loves affection and is happy to quiet down in your arms for some calm. Lion gets along well with other dogs and children, making him a great fit for a lively home. If you’re looking for an irresistible, goofy puppy who will both challenge and snuggle you, Lion’s your pup. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
