About Tula Bean

Tula Bean is a medium-sized Rhodesian Ridgeback mix who traveled all the way from Cambodia to start her new life in the United States in 2021. While her early days were spent surviving the streets with her brother, she adapted to family life here—though she’s made it clear that small children are not her thing. Tula Bean is uncomfortable living with little ones and will thrive in a child-free home. She loves outdoor activities, walks, hikes, and is always up for a game with squeaky balls. Sofa cuddles with her foster family (and their dogs) are a close second. Tula Bean is shy when meeting new people, but with time and patience she warms up. Her personality is a blend of Shiba Inu and Corgi: independent, quick-witted, and happiest as the only pet in the home—no cats, dogs, or small children, please. She’s smart, eager for treats, very soft, and learns fast. Crate trained, house trained, and a good car companion, she does best with an active owner who understands her preference to rule the household solo. Can’t make it to an adoption event?
